ARAP monthly coordination meeting conducted on 14 July 2019 at the conference hall of the World Bank.

At the commencement of the meeting after reciting of few verse of holy Quran, H.E Javed Hamdarad the administrative and financial deputy ministry of Transport Ministry talked about importance of ARAP project and said: “the overall activities of this program such as construction of road and bridges are not only play a vital role in economic and social life of local but all the activities are itself is a charity and we are very satisfy from this program and we support this project.”

Mr.Hamdard appreciated the hardworking of ARAP staff and he particularly thanked the significant support of the World Bank and added that during past year the ministry of Transport spent 96.70 % of its budget which was a big achievement and he wished that this year also the budget should be spend suggestively.

Later on Eng.Mohammad Naser Temory the executive director of NRAP/MRRD on behalf of MRRD ministry talked about NRAP/MRRD activities and achievements and added that program officials prioritize the projects as per need of locals equally in 34 province of the county.

Meanwhile Mr.Ajmal Askarzoy the ARAP project task team leader at the World Bank said that during the two weeks mission all the departments will present their activities individually and at conclusion the Bank team will give their suggestion and comments accordingly.

In the other part of the mission both PIUs representatives presented their presentations from their activities, achievements and the overall activities, achievements and challenges has been presented through a comprehensive presentation by Eng. Besmillah Besmil the National Coordinator of the program.

It is worth to mentioning that ARAP monthly coordination meeting conducts after each six months for the purpose of evaluating and supervising Project activities by the World Bank delegates.
