The construction work of an asphalt road project implemented by National Rural Access Program of Public Works Ministry in Mihtralam district of Laghman Province.
This project which is contain of 8.81 km road,36 Rm culvert and 420 Rm retaining wall has constructed in two part , the first part start from Baghcha Bangi till Qalae Kochi village of laghman and the second part start from Mihtaralam that connected Laghman province with Alisheng and its related valley.
With the construction of this road, the people of Bangi Baghcha, Ghondandgul, Wardak, Kanej, Shirgar, Omarzai and Doveh villages have been facilitated social amenities and people easily import their agricultural products to the markets of the province of Laghman and Negarhar Province.
It is said that there are two schools, one education center and one health clinic are located along this road.
The project, which has been recently put in to service to local people, constructed with total budget of 1,100,888,972 AFN from the government of Afghanistan and Japan fund.
This project benefited 105,961 persons directly and indirectly and also 365 working days generated to local inhabitants during construction period.
